Last night, my stomach was acting up again and this morning, I woke up with a headache. I don’t remember the last time I was in this much pain for such a long time! I decided to take the day off from the gym and to really be careful with my food today, in an attempt to please the Tummy and Head gods.
I’m sad that I’m missing body pump this morning! I missed the class on Thursday because of my stomach woes and am now skipping today’s class, too, but I know that in the grand scheme of things, missing two body pump classes in a week isn’t going to make me less strong.
Breakfast today was boring. I wanted to give my body easy food to digest and stuck with toast and scrambled eggs. I used one whole egg and a bit of egg whites from the carton.
This bread is really good! For only 60 calories, you get a nice big slice.
I had two pieces of toast with the eggs.
Still feeling hungry not too long after, I ate a frozen banana (we are out of un-frozen bananas).
These taste like such a treat because they’re frozen, sweet and creamy. I eat these even when I’m not having a hard time digesting my food!
I have a busy day planned. I’m meeting a friend for lunch and then hanging out with my sister in the afternoon. I’ll be back later with a recap. Enjoy your Sunday!
