I had Dave wake me up before 7 so that I could get in a 9 mile run before meeting him for lunch at noon. If I finish this (which I am pretty optimistic about), it will be my longest run to date. Considering that I had a fairly easy 8 mile run last week, I know that I can run an extra mile with relative ease.
My go-to pre-run breakfast: whole wheat toast, almond butter and sliced banana sprinkled with cinnamon.
I’m waiting for after the run to drink coffee. There’s nothing like frantically searching for a bathroom in the middle of a run!
