I have that icky feeling that I get after eating way too much the day before, but today is a new day and I’m going to put light and healthy foods in my body to help it feel better. I also decided that I’ll exercise this afternoon instead of this morning to give my body some time to finish digesting yesterday’s excess foods. I am definitely a morning exerciser, but I don’t mind exercising in the afternoon. The gym is so empty at that time!
I also got 9 1/2 hours of sleep last night. This first week of school, not to mention the 95 degree temps in my classroom, has totally drained me. I’m so excited to get enough sleep and reenergize this weekend!
I started today with a new bread find:
As you know, I absolutely love cinnamon and just about anything that lists it as an ingredient. I knew I had to try out this bread! I toasted two slices (including the end) and then topped them with some Maranatha almond butter and 1 thinly sliced small gala apple that we received in yesterday’s Boston Organics box.
(Just to clarify – this is a salad plate. Those slices are pretty small!)
After taking just one bite, I knew that this dish was in need of some extra cinnamon.
Much better! I’m hanging out around the house and will probably go shopping for more warm weather teaching clothes before meeting a mystery person for lunch! Happy Friday!
