This is an awesome recipe that is good if you have fun toppings you want to use as the “cherry on top” of your breakfast.
- 1/3 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/3 cup skim milk
- 1 egg
- ~1 tsp. baking powder
- ~1 tsp. baking soda
- ~1 tbsp. applesauce
- ~1 tbsp. ground flax seed (gotta have those Omega-3s!)
Whisked, and then cooked on a well-greased pan over medium-high heat. Flip when bottom is firm and golden brown.
Top with pancake syrup, nut butter, fresh or baked fruit, nuts, or yogurt.
